Capable of handling both dye-based and pigmented fluids, with jetting fluids of much higher viscosities (up to 100cP), the Xaar Aquinox presents a host of new opportunities for global textile printers, providing them with the ability to apply an extensive array of richer, more vibrant colours to more materials, with immediate final colour control, just-in-time print quality and the best lightfastness, giving manufactures the chance to explore increasingly novel and attractive finishes.

aQ Power is a combination of technologies including, an updated internal architecture, new advanced material, and an innovative technique for ejecting the ink droplets ensuring the Aquinox is a printhead that you can genuinely rely on for trouble-free aqueous operation – maximising printer uptime and print uniformity even with the extended use of high viscosity, acidic inks and pigment loading requirements.

We have built the Aquinox to be ready to print from the day one. With super-fast setup and installation times, and drop-in printhead alignment and different drop size capabilities, productivity is at the very core of the Aquinox printhead with speeds of over 100m/min, high native resolution of 720dpi and firing frequency of up to 48kHz all enable high fluid laydown for maximum productivity.

Keeping up changing demands makes our aqueous printhead a perfect solution for many new and different applications, keeping it at the very forefront of efficiency and versatility.

Delivering more sustainability

With the Xaar Aquinox printhead, having the ability to jet a range of aqueous fluids accurately and with much higher viscosity while reducing drying times and wastage, ensures that digital and inkjet printing can deliver the sustainable print standard that businesses and their consumers are increasingly demanding.

Reduced energy consumption and water usage (both in production and drying times), and especially in textile printing, can equate to as much as a 60 per cent saving in energy and water over similar analogue printing processes.

Traditionally, during periods of non-printing many printheads have required high humidity and the need to be continuously jetting to ensure print quality. Xaar’s TF Technology ink recirculation gives improved open time and latency, reducing maintenance and unnecessarily wasted ink, saving energy and resources, thus maximising the total cost of ownership.

Similarly, the improved robustness of the Xaar Aquinox extends its lifespan and avoids costly replacement of printheads, once more minimising waste and environmental impact.
