• Faster set-up & reduced risk of tile breakage: by eliminating roller sleeves there is no physical changeover time between images; and with set-up handled by print control software, production downtime and waste are reduced, making it simpler to print short runs, including single tiles. The non-contact nature of digital inkjet printing makes breakages very rare, reducing waste and material costs.
• Print on textured tiles: digital inkjet printheads can work on textured surfaces​. Combining digital inkjet printing of colour with texture produces more realistic representations of natural materials, enhancing the value of the tiles. The printheads also decorate right to the edge of a tile, eliminating white edges and creating a seamless, natural look.
