Purpose of Role

To ensure that the production line delivers production targets on time, on cost and to quality spec.

Meeting Daily Production Targets

Setting and communicating shift targets.

Audit production against SOP adherence.

Shop floor material control.

Control and audit housekeeping & 5S.

1^st level analysis of process (yield) and equipment issues.

Supervise Shift

Adequate trained resource available at all times.

Absence reporting, holiday planning, manage time and attendance system.

Overtime planning.

Accident reporting.

Quality awareness. Audit daily.

Supervision of employees and ownership of training matrix.

Salary review input and appraisal.

General

Cleanroom gown procedures and PPE adherence.

Health and Safety guidelines followed and adhered to

Key Internal Relationships

Production team, UK Operations Manager, Process Engineering, Equipment and Facilities support team

Working Hours

It is a requirement of your role that you participate in a shift rota. The shift pattern will be as follows:

Days:

Monday - Friday (8.00am - 4.00pm)

Double Days:

Early: Monday - Thursday (6.00am - 2.15pm) Friday (6.00am - 1.00pm)
Late: Monday - Thursday (2.00pm - 10.00pm) Friday (12.45pm - 8.45pm)

Nights:

Night shift operates from Monday to Thursday
Sunday (12.15am - 6.15am)
Monday - Thursday (9.45pm - 6.15am)

Qualification, Skills and Experience

Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/clean room environment is essential as is knowledge of printhead assembly and test processes
A minimum of two years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
Working knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
